Surgical Innovation
Our surgical innovation pipeline passed through a global network of Vattikuti co-branded institutions, leveraging their strengths for obtaining proof of concept and its ultimate application on human subjects weaving a fool-proof patient safety net.
The Foundation started its social empowerment division in 2009 along with the launch of innumerable programs supporting livelihoods and financial inclusion to increase public awareness of the resources available to them, in order to facilitate alleviation of their own circumstances.
In addition to Vattikuti Foundation’s Chairpersons Raj and Padma Vattikuti, the only physicians featured in the Smithsonian Museum exhibit are two Urologists Mani Menon and Mahendra Bhandari of Vattikuti Urology Institute established by the Vattikuti Foundation at the Henry Ford Hospital Detroit.
Vattikuti Foundation Robotic Surgery Institute (VFRSI) is committed to bringing together healthcare institutes, medical professional, and patients, from diverse geographies, in the field of minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, and cancer treatment.
The foundation is focused on the training of young surgeons at the formative stage to learn from the best of the mentors at our network of institutions through a range of long-term and short-term fellowship programs in India and internationally.
