How To Make sure your KS International Innovation Awards Entry Gets REJECTED!

12 August 2026

It's that time again; the Vattikuti Foundation is going to be offering up at least $50,000. (US) in prizes, with a top prize of $10,000 for winners of the 2026 KS International Innovation Awards. If you DON'T want to win, here is our Top Ten List of what to do:

  1. Make your video too long- or too short. (5 - 8- minutes is allowed.)
  2. Don't narrate it. (High-quality narration IS essential, both for sound quality and wording.)
  3. No Title page or Conclusions / Outcomes slides). (Both required.)
  4. Use music. (NO MUSIC ALLOWED- THE BIGGEST VIOLATION!)
  5. Choose not to use graphics. (Most videos need visuals and overlays.)
  6. Have poor quality video. (Use well- focused & edited footage.)
  7. Add lots of fine print. (Leave tables of data for the Journals!)
  8. Send it in after the due date. (The deadline is the 30th of September, 2026.)
  9. Forget to include an Abstract. (A professional- quality Abstract is expected. A short description is also a requirement.)
  10. Don't put your name on every file! (We don't want to keep track of YOUR WORK! OH WAIT- ACTUALLY WE DO!)

If you DO wish to have a chance to win, please review and FOLLOW the contest Guidelines, where there are instructions regarding your Video and Abstract: https://ksawards.vattikutifoundation.com/vizag/guidelines

Just a friendly note: WE WANT you to succeed! Early entrants may have their videos screened and put on hold until they fulfill the requirements more fully. Late entries will NOT have time for this opportunity.

Good Luck!
