“Penile Urethral Strictures”, Dr Pankaj M Joshi, Reconstructive Urologist, Kulkarni Reconstructive Urology Center, Pune, India ; Lichen Sclerosus and Post Hypospadias and iatrogenic strictures are commonly seen in the penile urethra. Each needs a different management algorithm. I would discuss the management of simple and complex penile strictures, when to perform Single stage,2 stage repair and when to use flaps.

 

“Bulbar Urethroplasty My Algorithm”, Dr Sanjay Balwant Kulkarni, Director of Urology, Kulkarni Reconstructive Urology Center, Pune, India; The bulbar urethra is the most common site for stricture. When to transect and when and how to use oral mucosa grafts and flaps will be discussed.

 

“Posterior Urethroplasty”, Dr. Ganesh Gopalakrishnan, Prof. of Urology, Senior Consultant, Vedenayagam Hospital, Combiatore, India; This lecture will focus on posterior urethral trauma following a pelvic fracture. A brief outline of the current approach to the immediate management and the subsequent corrective procedures will be given. The lecture will also be dealing with the problem of complex posterior urethral strictures as a result of both the trauma and following initial failed corrective surgery and the methods by which these defects may be corrected. How the complications arising out of the trauma namely incontinence, impotence and infertility can be treated after successful correction of the urethral injury?
