668 Transvesical simple prostatectomy and diverticulectomy with Single-PortRobot
Dr. Federico Lavagno
This study evaluated single-port (SP) robot-assisted simple prostatectomy (RASP) in three patients with large benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) from October 2024 to April 2025. Performed through a single 4-cm suprapubic incision, the procedure addressed both the adenoma and concomitant bladder issues. All surgeries were successful without conversions, extra ports, or significant complications. The median console time was 107 minutes with a median blood loss of 100 ml. All patients were discharged within 5 days, with a mean hospital stay of 3.6 days, demonstrating SP-RASP is a promising minimally invasive technique.
