Vattikuti Foundation Hosts NeuroNext Roadshow in Kolkata

13 March 2026

The Vattikuti Foundation hosted the Kolkata edition of its NeuroNext Roadshow on March 13, 2026, at Hotel The Stadel, as part of its multi-city initiative across India aimed at advancing awareness and access to innovative neurological care.

The Kolkata forum brought together neurologists, neurosurgeons, clinicians, patients, and caregivers to discuss emerging treatment approaches for neurological movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease and Essential Tremor. A key focus of the sessions was on MR guided Focused Ultrasound (MRgFUS), a non-invasive technology that enables targeted treatment without the need for surgical intervention.

The program featured expert-led discussions along with interactive patient engagement sessions. Attendees had the opportunity to interact directly with medical experts, seek clarifications, and gain a better understanding of available treatment options and evolving care pathways.

The event saw participation from a diverse patient group, including senior citizens and individuals requiring assisted access. On-ground arrangements, including wheelchair support, were provided to ensure accessibility and facilitate participation.

Patient and caregiver interactions formed an integral part of the forum, enabling structured dialogue with specialists. Discussions addressed common concerns related to diagnosis, treatment options, and the role of specialized neurological care, particularly for individuals seeking clarity beyond general consultations.

The Kolkata roadshow was part of the Vattikuti Foundation’s broader NeuroNext initiative conducted across multiple cities in India from March 13–15, 2026, including Mumbai and Bangalore. The initiative aimed to bridge gaps in awareness, improve access to advanced medical technologies, and support informed decision-making among patients and caregivers.

Through such initiatives, the Foundation continues to promote the adoption of innovative, non-invasive treatment solutions while strengthening engagement between medical experts and the communities they serve.
