Dr Mahendra Bhandari – Opening Remarks – RSC Meeting 2014

Vattikuti Foundation C.E.O, noted Urologist and one of the prime proponents of expanding robotic surgery in India, Dr. Mahendra Bhandari outlines several of his goals at the February 2014 meeting of the Robotic Surgeons Council of India. He talks about data collection and sharing; co-operation and communication- even amongst competitors; the importance of advancing more robotic specialties and more. He also focused on training cautioning that equipment training is not the same as surgical training: ” That one and a half day’s training is just an orientation for you, to be familiar with the equipment.
