Session 7: Hepatobiliary Robotic Surgery, Humans on the Cutting Edge of Robotic Surgery

 

The Vattikuti Foundation sponsored a gathering of some of the most significant surgeons in Robotic Surgery on November 19, 2022, for the Vattikuti Robotic Surgery Symposium: Humans on the Cutting Edge of Robotic Surgery, in Miami. Eleven sessions focused on various topics and specialties, with surgeons from all specialties taking part.

 

Session 7 was also moderated by Drs. Pier Cristoforo Giulianotti & Atsushi Yoshida. Dr. Srinivasan Ramachandran, Senior Consultant, Dep’t. of Surgical gastroenterology, Meenakshi Mission Hospital & Research centre, Madurai, Tamilnadu, India screened ‘Robotic-assisted left hepatectomy for HCC;’ Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and research (JIPMER), Puducherry, India, Dr. Raja Kalayarasan, MBBS, MS, DNB, MCh (Gastrointestinal Surgery), Additional Professor, Dep’t. of Surgical Gastroenterology, presented ‘Robotic fluorescence – guided bile duct preserving pancreatic head resection with splenic neurectomy for chronic pancreatitis.’ Discussions, robotic surgery videos, 29:21 TRT.
