Humans of Robotic Surgery- Prof. Sherry Wren

The Vattikuti Foundation’s Humans of Robotic Surgery Series interviews Robotic Surgery Pioneer Prof. Sherry Wren, of the Stanford University Medical School. She describes her first looks at the prototypes of what became the da Vinci Surgical System during the beginnings of its development, but also what drove her to select robotic over laparoscopic surgery. Working with colleagues, the opportunity to participate in judging the KS International Innovation in Robotic Surgery Awards, plus many more subjects highlight this program.

Interview, with photos and a short clip from the 2023 Humans at the Cutting Edge of Robotic Surgery Symposium in Melle/Ghent Belgium. 9:35
