In the third edition of his Interview series, Dr. Mahendra Bhandari, the Vattikuti Foundation CEO interviews stem cell research scientist and pioneer Graziella Pellegrini, Associate Professor of Cell Biology, Head Cell Therapy Program, at the Universita Degli Studi Di Modena E Reggio Emilia (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy). They talk about her accomplishments in growing replacement corneal tissue from a patient’s own stem cells. The new cornea then replaces clouded over material, restoring sight to the blind.
