Session 11: Radical Cystectomy and intracorporal Neobladder, Humans on the Cutting Edge of Robotic Surgery

The Vattikuti Foundation sponsored a gathering of some of the most significant surgeons in Robotic Surgery on November 19, 2022, for the Vattikuti Robotic Surgery Symposium: Humans on the Cutting Edge of Robotic Surgery, in Miami. Eleven sessions focused on various topics and specialties, with surgeons from all specialties taking part.

Session 11 features two videos on Radical Cystectomy and Intracorporeal Neobladder. Drs. Peter Wiklund, MD, PhD & Mohan Gundeti, MD, MCh, FEBU, FRCS (Urol) FEAPU, moderated the session. The first video, presented by Alberto Martini, MD, La Croiz du Sud Hospital, Toulouse, France. is: ‘Nerve-sparing Hood cystectomy with totally intracorporeal neobladder.’ The second is: ‘Robot-Assisted Radical Cystectomy and Reconstruction of Intracorporeal Ileal Conduit (With Practical Modifications),’ produced by Prof. Levent Turkeri, Dep’t. of Urology, Acibadem M.A. Aydinlar University, Altunizade Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey.
