Session 9: Robotic Inguinal Lymphadenectomy, Humans on the Cutting Edge of Robotic Surgery

 

The Vattikuti Foundation sponsored a gathering of some of the most significant surgeons in Robotic Surgery on November 19, 2022, for the Vattikuti Robotic Surgery Symposium: Humans on the Cutting Edge of Robotic Surgery, in Miami. Eleven sessions focused on various topics and specialties, with surgeons from all specialties taking part.

 

Session 9 features Robotic Inguinal Lymphadenectomy, with moderators Ashok Hemal, MD, MCh (Urol), FACS and Fred Muhletaler, MD, FACS. Two videos were featured, first, ‘Robotic inguinal lymph node dissection by lateral approach,’ from Dr. Tarun Jindal, Head & Senior Consultant Pro-Onco & Robotic Surgery, NH Narayana Hospital, Howra, India; the second was 2nd Prize Winner of the KS Innovation Awards: ‘Robotic infraclavicular approach minimally invasive neck dissection (RIA-MIND) in head and neck cancers, ‘presented by Sandeep Nayak, Chief of Surgical Oncology, MACS Clinic, Jayanagar, India.
