Time and space remain two of the major limitations for surgeons today, and technology must support us in overcoming them. In our setting, we face the added challenge of insularity, being far from large urban centers where reference surgeons for various pathologies and specialties are concentrated. Over the past two years, we have developed and implemented several technological innovations to help bridge these gaps.
