The robotic interface with 3D optics and magnified vision greatly aided meticulous dissection of the tumor in this challenging location. Intraoperatively, there was a concern that a lower polar renal vessel might have been sacrificed. However, the use of Firefly fluorescence technology confirmed that no inadvertent vascular injury had occurred. The minimally invasive approach also facilitated early mobilization and enabled a swift postoperative recovery and discharge.
