648 Robotic surgery for paediatric solid abdominal tumours
Dr. Sujit Chowdhary
Minimally invasive surgery has revolutionised oncological surgery with benefits such as smaller incisions and quicker recovery. However, its use in paediatric population is debated due to concerns about complete tumour resection and complications. Robotic surgery, offering enhanced visualisation and precision, may address these issues. This study represent a largest study reported outside USA, reviews single centre experience of robotic surgery for paediatric solid abdominal tumours, assessing perioperative and oncological outcomes on long term follow up.
