The Mitrofanoff appendicovesicostomy is a surgical procedure that allows access to the bladder from the abdominal wall by utilizing the appendix, enabling children to achieve social continence. While traditionally done via an open approach, we describe the robotic-assisted laparoscopic Mitrofanoff appendicovesicostomy (RALMA) with Gundeti’s 10-step modifications. The Gundeti 10-step modification will standardize the procedure and improve safety and efficacy.
