In Miami this year, she was the Second Keynote Speaker for the Saturday, April 11 Session. Besides being a pioneer Robotic Surgeon (working alongside Intuitive Surgical in the early days), she is a leader in global efforts geared to spreading medical and surgical knowledge through the United Nations SURGhub program, among other projects.
