Minimal Access Surgery for Myomectomy- Robotic Vs. Laparoscopy

Dr. Rooma Sinha, Associate Professor, Minimal Access & Robotic Surgeon at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad, studied a cohort of Myomectomy patients between January, 2012 and June, 2015. She compares outcomes from patients who chose which procedure to have (Laparoscopic or Robotic). She describes the technique for myomectomy, using good photos, diagrams and explanations for each procedure. For patients, the robotic group had significantly less pain- Dr. Sinha explains her understanding why this occurred- along with other observations.
