VP, Strategy for Intuitive Surgical, Catherine Mohr, MD, MSME, tells the Robotic Surgeons Council of India (RSC) about some the new items on the horizon for the robotic surgeon. She also talks about the worldwide growth or robotic surgery (and competitors developing new products).
One of the interesting new developments she shares with the RSC is in ovarian cancer, where a molecular bonding chemical has been discovered which helps highlight a major form of ovarian cancer under Intuitive’s Firefly visualization system.
