The Vattikuti Foundation's video awards program, now known as the KS Innovation Awards, has grown in the decade - plus, since the Vattikuti Foundation first initiated them. Hundreds of entries have been submitted and thousands of dollars in prizes awarded thus far. Perhaps even more importantly for the video Producers has been the recognition among colleagues- and a chance to present their work in person- most recently in Jaipur, India. The deadline to submit entries to earn a chance to submit your work in Miami next April (2026) is now just one month away- on September 15th!
Entry videos are already coming into the website entry portal (the only way to submit entries). So far, about 50% are being rejected! We ask that producers/teams submitting work take time to carefully study the Guidelines found here: https://ksawards.vattikutifoundation.com/2025/guidelines
One thing we must emphasize: make sure your files, videos and documents contain the name of the Producer! We have seen far-to-many Abstracts coming in with NO identifying information (project title/producer name/institution/email)! One video was rejected, due to containing MUSIC, which is not allowed, one did not fit within the length limits (between 5-8-minutes). Last year, we had an unedited video sent in- with no titles/graphics/narrations- nothing!
With so many projects to keep track of, YOU need to be sure everything needed to help us adjudicate your entry- and NOT lose it- is there. Be professional, please. We want you to qualify!
One more thing we like to remind our Producers- every contest- is this: "If it doesn't look and sound good on YOUR computer, it won't look good on the big screen in the Awards Auditorium!" Please make everything in your project the very best it can be!
