Global Robotic Surgery Competition Step-by-Step Submission Guide

Robotic Surgeons, now’s the time to prepare your entry for Vattikuti Foundation’s global competition, the KSA International Innovation Awards. The competition is open for all surgical domains using robots and innovative new technology and offers two award tracks from which to choose.


Follow this step-by-step guideline and compete on a worldwide basis.

  1. Choose Your Track
    • Robotic Procedure Innovation –for novel, impactful surgical techniques on specific procedures
    • New Technology Track – highlights a device, system, or idea that significantly improves patient care, safety, or training for improved surgical outcomes using technology such as simulation, modeling, AI.

  2. Prepare Your Entry: Create a 5-8 minute video that clearly explains:

    • The problem your innovation addresses

    • The unique features of your solution

    • Evidence of success or outcomes

    • Make sure you have proper patient consent and avoid using copyrighted music or images.

  3. Register & Upload: Visit https://ksawards.vattikutifoundation.com/2025

    Create a profile including

    • Contact information
    • Title and abstract of your innovation
    • Upload submission and professional headshot

  4. Accept the Terms

    Agree to the contest rules, including permission for your material to be used for educational and promotional purposes.

  5. Submit Before the Deadline

    All entries must be received by 11:59 PM ET on September 15, 2025. Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
