Quoc-Dien Trinh, MD is a Urological Surgeon and Co-Director of the Prostate Cancer Program at the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center, Boston. Dr. Trinh is an Assistant Professor, Harvard Medical School and also an Associate Editor of the BJUI medical journal. Dr. Trinh describes that he reads about ten research articles per week in this role. He shares his observations on how to get the most out of studying journal articles- and how prospective authors should go about presenting their data in the most effective way. He points out several “Red Flags,” he finds when reviewing research articles, and how to prevent work from becoming rejected for publication.
