The Vattikuti Foundation Partners With the All India Institute of Medical Sciences—New Delhi

The Vattikuti Foundation has donated the Neuroblate, a device found only in the top for-profit hospitals in India, to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, a government-run hospital. The intent- to provide the same cutting-edge technology to treat India’s poor. The Neuroblate system, developed by Insightec, uses High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound energy (HIFU), to work inside a patient’s brain without surgery. It is guided by Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and is used to treat Essential Tremors and other Neurologic maladies. This a short look at the celebratory start to the partnership.
