586 Robotic-Assisted Management of Ureteral Complications After Kidney Transplantation: first experience
Dr. Mireia Musquera
In this video we present 3 cases of ureteral stricture treatment after kidney transplantation using the Da Vinci robotic system. Specifically, this video highlights: A case of left ureteral reimplantation after an open kidney transplant, a right ureteral reimplantation following a robotic kidney transplant, and uretero-ureteral anastomosis after an open kidney transplant. Surgery was completed entirely robotically. No postoperative complications were observed. The patients were discharged 6–7 days after surgery. Stenosis was resolved in all cases. At 6 months of follow-up, creatinine levels were normal in all three patients. Robotic-assisted surgery provides a minimally invasive approach to treat this complications with Good results.
