Maintaining Quality Data

In this video, Vattikuti Foundation CEO Dr. Mahendra Bhandari describes the Foundation’s reasons, efforts and incentives for India’s robotic surgeons to maintain a well-managed database of robotic surgery. Dr. Mihir Desai, Professor of Urology and Director of Robotic Surgery at the Keck Hospital at the University of Southern California describes the need for quality data organization, and how USC manages their system. He also describes one of his former medical center’s lack of data organization and how it compromises the accurate reporting of findings.
