Manipal Vattikuti Fellow Dr. Sushil Jain Kumar produced this video presentation for the April 2017 Robotic Surgeons Council of India. The traditional Low Anterior Resection (LAR) procedure is a technical challenge for the robot, according to his presentation. A means was devised to utilize one port which also took into consideration the need to avoid collisions between the robotic arms. The video covers port placement and goes step-by-step through the process with good robotic camera footage.
