The use of robotic platform in case of retroperitoneal tumours is relatively unexplored. The complex neuromuscular anatomy adds to further challenge. The robotic approach for robotic retroperitoneal tumour provided advantages like ease of access, excellent 3-D vision with magnification and 360 degree wrist movements. The post-operative outcomes were excellent with smaller incision, less post-operative pain and short hospital stay
