Dr. Ravi Kant RSCOI Keynote Address May 2018

Dr. Ravi Kant is the Director and CEO Of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh. He presented a short but significant Keynote Speech to the 10th Robotic Surgeons Council of India meeting in Mussoorie, May 5, 2018.

Dr. Kant insists that the education sector has “Not been left behind,” in regards to robotic surgery. He also touched on an issue of concern to robotic surgeons across the globe: “Apart from early discharge, and other things, we would also need to prove that- where is the medical benefit in every significant way.”

Values and cost computing must be accurately modeled into the financial model which accurately reflect true advantages of robotic surgey, the esteemed CEO told the audience of 115 top Indian robotic surgeons.
